Sharing is caring..hehe:) I am one of the student of Mineral Resources Engineering in USM,Engineering Campus. For information, this course ONLY offered by USM. No other university in Malaysia.Our future is not only working at mine. We can go into industry involving processing mineral,Geologist,Environment Engineering, Occupation Safety and Health department, Economics Evaluation. There is a lot of vacancy in Malaysia and also other country around the world.Wowww!!! I really hope I can go to other country and work with them to gain more experience.our job opportunity really wide since we only have to compete among our coursemate. Other engineering cannot be mine engineering.Only us can be! My lecturer,Dato Prof Ir Dr Eric Goh said,"U can do whatever u want as long as u want to do it".I adore him so much since he got a lot of experience working here and there.He contribute so much to our country,university and i am proud to have him as one of my lecturer.

2 years ago, before i decided to accept USM offer to further my study in this field, i really dont know what this course is all about. I just accept this offer since i afraid the other offer may not satisfied me enough. First year, we learn about basic engineering which is so though. My result also not very good.It just satisfy. When comes to second year, we start learn about our course,our subject: mineralogy,mineral deposit,fluid mechanics,introduction to mining engineering,comminution and sizing,petrography and ore microscopy.Now, I start to get excited to learn about this course further.I hope in future,i contribute something to country, and make my parents proud of me. I'll go for it!!!Chaiyokkk!
